Indian- Ocean humpback dolphin (Sousa plumbea) and finless porpoise (Neophocarna phocaenoide) based on the international union for conservation of Natural Red list is among threatened and vulnerable species. They live in warm, shallow coastal waters in Indo-pacific Ocean, Red sea and Persian Gulf. It has been observed in estuaries, creek and forests of Hara. It has been observed or stranded in Persian Gulf and Oman Sea. Currently, the largest population of this species have been seen in waters around Qeshm island in Hormozgan, Dayr-Nakhiloo national park and Mond protected area in Boushehr province and khour Musa in Khuzestan province
