At the beginning of hawksbill turtle’s nesting season, Plan for the Land Society conducted educational programs to welcome hawksbill turtles in elementary schools in Kish Islands. The program prolonged from 20th to 24th of February.

During this educational workshops about 2263 elementary students got familiar with Hawksbill turtle, the precious species through an animation and coloring book.Also by the environmental facilitators’ help children reviewed and discussed different ways to help hawksbill turtles which come to the shore for nesting. Also presence of the environmental activists (guards) who are active in the field of conservation of beautiful nature of Kish Island helped the program to be more influential and caused to closer relationship with students.

The educational program was performed in cooperation with Kish Free Zone Department of environment and with the sponsorship of Kish Choub Company by Plan for the Land Society form 20th to 24th of February.
