Plan for the Land Society Takes part in the IUCN West Asia 8th regional conservation forum from 10th – 12th of November, 2015 in Jordan.
The meeting held by the presence of governmental authorities and NGOs from West Asia region. Plan for the Land Society presented its publications and different activities in the field of conservation of wildlife and nature in the sided exhibition of the meeting and explained about its current projects and activities in the field of conservation of marine mammals, enhance the quality local communities livelihood and children education. Also different side-meetings and discussions were done by the presence of the Plan for the Land representatives and IUCN director general and secretariat bodies and other regional activists and future cooperation were taken into consideration. Also useful information about the structure of the IUCN, main function of IUCN were presented by organizers for attendees. The main point is NGOs’ interest to be a member of IUCN and facilitating the conditions for membership of other NGOs which needs to be done by Iranian NGOs who are already member of IUCN and this will lead to play main role in the region.
